PROTEIN PACKED GRANOLA

Set your oven to 350F. This recipe yields approximately 11 cups. This recipe is rich in EFAs, vitamins, minerals and fibre. Don't forget all the antioxidants you get if add dark berries!

Ingredients: I recommend berries, peaches, bananas, mango whatever combination you like...change it up every time! Try to stay away from dried fruits UNLESS that is all you have; they are higher on the glycemic index.

  1. Mix all of the ingredients, except for the fruit. Add the combination to a baking pan with sides.
  2. Now mix the oil and agave syrup together. Pour over the granola mixture and stir well.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes and remember to stir after 20 minutes.
  4. When it is finished cooking, remove from oven and stir in desired fruits (only if eating right away). If not cool and store in an airtight container and add fruit before eating.
